. Lily's ex gets framed for murdering the guys that attacked Lily. I am sure there is so much more excitement to come! He is drawn to her on such level that he's never been drawn to another human before. . This did turn into a really good read heart thumping read after a bit of a bumpy start. It was interesting just enough to keep me reading.
I really felt for him and the wall he had built around himself, how his heart was hardened until Lily came along. The first half Overly descriptive. . There are definitely triggers here and Lilly has to overcome her own demons. . But nothing really truly gripping or enthralling for me with these characters or their plight came, until the final 10% of the novel. .
That kind of threw off the story a bit, there were so many I seriously lost count, so there you go Solid 4. . It's intended to be read by mature audiences. The more time she spends with this frightening yet captivating man, the harder it becomes. I don't want to say too much but for anyone who hasn't read this book you are seriously missing out. He can make her hairs stand on end but he also has a sweetness to him that tugs at her heart. .
So this is just a tiny example why they cracked me up! But its all out of his hands. Of course, Lily pressures him in to it. Okay firstly let me say this. I can't say goodbye again, but I can't have my revenge and have you. This goes on and on and on.
The first half of this book was so sweet and sexy with plenty of time for this couple to get to know each other. It had absolutely everything I was looking for! Moody, mysterious, scary, sweet, caring and loving. Part 1' and I'm kicking myself for not doing it sooner, it's amazing. Pass the ice cubes please! I swear I laughed so hard I couldn't control myself. Soon she finds herself merged into his world full of murder, revenge, and deceit. I think the only reason this wasn't 5 stars for me was because I could connect a lot with the characters, even though I still loved them.
It was so much deeper and richer. Soon she finds herself merged into his world full of murder, revenge, and deceit. Part one of a two part series. She has moved back in with her mom and two brothers and needs to start living again. She has been through a lot. You have no excuse now. But it was a sweet surprise!!! Lily was an amazing character.
These two took me on a fantastic voyage of danger, intrigue and awesomeness. Loved, loved, loved, loved, loved this. So what happens when Lily comes barging into Jay's life and things change. Now it's safe to say that Jay is not a social man, this on top of the fact he's huge, scarred and scary as hell means he's surprised his visitor's returned. What exactly he does I had no idea. It's a well written and well woven story, but still, it just didn't resonate with me completely like I h Solid 3. I doubt I will be catching up with book 2.
Meanwhile, Jay tried to keep this temptress away from him because he is leaving town soon. This girl really comes into her own and I loved her for it as I watched her character grow. I read this book as part of a buddy read in. You want to have the true affect and get shocked. Part one of a two part series. This receives 5 big stars from me.
What the hell are you waiting for? Maybe my brothers were right? How many times did I have to read about her wanting to panic? Can't wait for the next book. Well as much as I loved the Hero I found myself rolling my eyes at the prospect of any man fictional or nonfictional being able to give a women soooooo many orgasms in one scene. I'm sure I was drooling. Filled with plenty of action and suspense along with a good dose of mystery. Oh, and it had a character called Vault who I really really want more of, wow!! At this point I'm I don't even care what happens anymore. He can scare you and at the same time keep you all hot for him! His height stretches up even higher and his already boulder-formed muscles expand. It appears Jay is also feeling a certain amount of attraction towards Lily but he's fighting against it, and this is how the book begins.
The first is his monstrous size, the second is the malicious way he glares at her, and thirdly, but most importantly, the three scars that mark his right eye. There was plenty of character development between Lily and Jay. This feels like she melded the best things that show up in their writing gruff alphahole that is able to be tender, a certain type of girly heroine, believable slow burn buildup and muted the things that tended to turn me off this slow burn actually catches fire, and happens a lot, intriguing side character that don't feel like wasted book space. Enter Jay, the hot, brutal, scary neighbour. What happens when two individuals from entirely different worlds meet and develop a deeply profound connection? He has never met anyone that sees him in the same light that Lily sees him. Oo yeah, like I say page turner! Lilly however, ignores her own inner warnings and blasts a place in his heart.
